Hi, I just recieved my new baseball glove, I am just wondering how much of my hand is it held to take in? The gap between the fingers and the wrist strap, on the back of the glove. Are you held to be able to see your knuckles in there? I can only just get that far, and even less when I wear my batting glove bottom.

I have a new Rawlings PRO1000-12P heart of the hide glove and i need to know if i should break it in on the axis, in view of the fact that when i do that the thumb go higher than all of the other fingers.

My glove sat in my bag all winter and rumor has it that it was wet when I place it away. It was absolutely enclosed in mold when I opened my bag. I managed to get the mold off of the outside but I don’t know how to get into the fingers. Any dreams? Its my favorite glove and the new one I bought just doesn’t equate.

I have a mizuno classic pro x run and want to break it in like the tpx pro flare. what is the best way to hold it and which fingers to i curve outwards. do i use a glove oil on the fingers to diminish them up? do i loosen the pinkie laces. i want to know the best way.

have i hurt the glove in anyhow? the fingers are soothe stiff and well curved. i have been maintenance a softball tied in it all the time in view of the fact that persons dreadful nights. i just hope i place of safeguard’t smashed the glove with persons two nights. anyone know if it will soothe be stiff with a excellent pocket now?
it doesn’t seem to have flattened at all, so i reckon it will be alright, but i just hope the pocket will form alright soothe.
even if the pocket doesn’t form as well as it may have, will it soothe be a excellent glove?
hey, excellent in rank austin b. i was just wondering if you may maybe elaborate on the pliers part? haha. do you mean pull the "X" strings at the top of the fingers forceful with pliers when they get soft?

they say i shouldn’t take a nap on it in view of the fact that i want to keep the curve in the fingers and i shouldn’t accurate it in view of the fact that i want to form the pocket in it before to i accurate it. and i’m not baking it, too expensive to do that. so lets hear some other opinions.
I got a really awe-inspiring deal on the glove. washed-out 80 dollars on a strain new 200 dough glove. i dont play competitively really, so i don’t know a whole lot about breaking in a really nice glove. i know i want to keep the fingers curved and sturdy for as long as possible, so keep me posted on the best ways for that to happen. i just don’t want to break it in ill-treat and be miserable with the consequences with no way of fixiing the topic. thanks!

Hi all. As in my other question about conditioning, I’m looking for some softball tips. Tryouts are in about 5 weeks and I need to break in a new glove. It’s been very mildly used. Does this mode signal excellent? I would rather not to use the oven mode.

Oil it, Use it, these are givens.There is only one way to break in a new glove so that it is equipped for use, and I’m sure some who have never done this will pan this mode. But I promise it, and have really been hired to do this several era.
1)place a softball in the palm
2)use shoestrings to wrap the fingers around the ball, they all should curl around it .(don’t agonize if they overlap or what the glove looks like.
3)soak it in fill up (yes, I know. Just entrust me)
4)let it get 90% dry, at room temp. (depending on leather feature, this may take 5-7 days)
5)untie strings & take the ball out. Place palm up on AC vent for 4hrs. then palm down for 4hrs.
6)apply Neetsfoot Oil (or Rawling Glove Oil) heavily, adjoin & back (don’t replace ball or strings) Repeat in 4hrs.
7)with 4 more hrs.apply thick layer of Vaseline. (adjoin, back,laces, even poke some in the lace holes)
8)tie it around a ball over again. If it’s a long fingered glove place a ball in web also but soothe curl the fingers best you can.
9)repeat steps 7 & 8, once a day, for 3 days.
10) apply Saddle Soap to back only , Rewrap around ball.

In 24hrs. it’s game equipped
